AI Explores Human-like Narcissism

The installation design was intentionally stripped back so that the object itself would speak with minimal interference.The team wanted to avoid decorating the machine and instead present it in its most basic, "naked" form.

Minimalistic Installation Design

As the AI observes itself in the mirror, it generates descriptions like "a shadow of a person" and "a bunch of electronics on a table." These descriptions are both accurate and eerie, reminding the team of how humans think about themselves.

Intriguing AI Self-Descriptions

To create a sense of grandiosity, the team filmed Narciss in a marble colosseum.This location was chosen to evoke a heavy, mockumentary feel, emphasizing the importance of the self in the context of the project.
